About Me

​​I'm Charlie William Roberts, a determined young composer with experience in creating music for short films and video-games.

I graduated CCCU with a first class degree in Music Production and here I gained lots of experience collaborating with many game design and film students.

I have networked with professional directors and editors via a composer workshop in November 2024. Here I gained a lot of experience and tips from professionals, including Oscar winning composer Steven Warbeck.

 

Music has always been apart of my life from a young age, but I particularly remember when I first fell in love with film soundtracks I would play them by ear on my small keyboard in my bedroom. As soon as I got my hands on a DAW, I knew that I wanted to go in this direction; to become a media composer for films,TV and video games.

There are a countless amount of composers that have helped influence my choices and inspired me to join them on this creative path, some favourites are: Danny Elfman, Charlie Clouser, Hans Zimmer and John Williams.
